About Pianoing
Pianoing is a representation of a challenge to myself. I am not a musician. I have not had any formal music training. However, I love music, specifically the piano, and I want to learn as much as I can about it. For me to do that I have created this website that will track a challenge to myself to play through the lives of the great pianists that I admire. The specifics of the challenge are: Out of the musicians I have selected, I will choose one song from one of their piano books to learn each month. I will practice the selected song each day. I will post a video of my progress each week. If by the end of the month I haven’t completed the song selected, I will move onto the next song but continue practicing both songs until they are both completed. Videos will all be recorded in one take. What you see is what you get, no redos! The challenge is simple. To make things a bit trickier and to expand my own comfort zone I will sing any song that has lyrics and record that in the weekly video. Writers say that the bestu0026hellip;
