Hello, hello! I’m still here, I promise. I know I’ve been sort of MIA for the past couple scheduled days and I apologize, I’ve had some things keeping me busy but I have spent some of that time away thinking about the format here and I’ve decided to switch things around a bit. I’m going to start posting Progress updates on Mondays instead of Fridays and Music Tips on Fridays.
Now, let’s get down to business. This is the tail end of the month and the last week, and last recording of Piano Man in the challenge. I’m happy to say, that even in February with only 28 days, I finished the song! I’m so excited about it, I’ve already booked a few bars to play at…just kidding 🙂
I’ll let you be the judge of whether or not I’m ready for the bars 😉 so here it is.
PS You’ll notice I have a new five star rating system under the video. Please rate my recording so I can gauge how I’m doing and leave your thoughts in the comments below.

I’m still very impressed by your harmonica skills along with playing piano. I also like how you tagged this post with “woot”. Haha
😉 woot doesn’t even come close to expressing my excitement at being able to finish the song, but does well for one word
thanks for your support!
Lalala Didi Lala… ♪ I sang with you. 🙂
I think this song is very very difficult to play.
I am surprised that you came to be able to play this song in a month!
Thanks K 🙂
It was tough (and needs more work for sure) but was so worth the time. I’m glad you enjoyed it enough to join in! hah
That sounds great Jesse! Very impressed with the multitasking. Harmonica, singing, and piano. Great work!
Thanks Kevin! I didn’t get it right till the night before and even then…
Hooray! Very impressive!
🙂 thanks!
You are just amazing! After one month of practice you can play, sing, and harmonica. And make me want to dance. You don’t sound quite as relaxed as Billy, but that will come with years of playing and singing. I’m sure it did for him. You made it sound fun. Way to go.
I think your opinion is a little biased though, being my Mom and all 🙂
Karly said the same thing about me not being relaxed, but I was so foccused on playing the piano, singing and playing the harmonica, I wasn’t able to really put myself in the music like I can when I’m not on camera and not really concerned about making a mistake. I’ll keep working on it though!
Thank you 🙂
